RPE is a way for you to measure how much effort you’re really putting into your sets. Instead focus on actually following progressive overload and your rate of perceived exertion (RPE) during your workouts! Soreness is NOT an indicator of whether you had a good workout or not! It indicates that your body had a new (intense) stimulus and must recover from that!😅 I know you may look at how sore you are and based on that decide if it was a successful workout or not.
